New Judge Takes Over Pharaoh's Witness Case

In Buffalo, New York, a significant development has occurred in the legal proceedings surrounding Peter Gerace, the owner of the now-defunct Pharaoh's strip club, who has been convicted on multiple charges.
This case centers on Gerace and several others who are implicated in the murder of a crucial government witness tied to Gerace's trial involving sex and drug trafficking. Recently, federal judge Lawrence Vilardo decided to assign the case to Chief Justice Elizabeth Wolford, who is based in Rochester.
Judge Vilardo is concurrently overseeing another high-profile case—the death penalty trial of the individual responsible for the tragic Tops supermarket shooting.
