Church's Texas Chicken to Open Second Location in Western New York
Church's Texas Chicken is set to open its second Western New York location in Buffalo, following its successful debut in Niagara Falls earlier this year. The new restaurant, located at the former Jet's Pizza on Delaware Avenue, will bring the chain’s signature hand-battered fried chicken and honey-butter biscuits to more local customers.
Church’s Texas Chicken, a San Antonio-founded fast-food chain, is expanding its footprint in Western New York with a second location in Buffalo. The new restaurant, spearheaded by franchise operator Muhammad Shoaib, will open at the former Jet’s Pizza site on Delaware Avenue.
This follows the chain’s first New York location, which opened in Niagara Falls in March 2025 at the Hyatt Place Hotel on Rainbow Boulevard. Known for its bold, Southern-style fried chicken, Church’s offers a menu featuring crispy chicken, tenders, sandwiches, and iconic honey-butter biscuits. The Buffalo location aims to attract both locals and visitors with its flavorful offerings and convenient location.
