List of Fourth of July fireworks, events across Western New York

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- Colorful firework displays and lively parades will kick off across the area as Western New Yorkers celebrate the Fourth of July.

See a full list of this year's displays and events celebrating the holiday below. Firework shows are listed by date, with Independence Day festivities below.

Monday, June 30

  • Clarence: Fireworks at Main Street Town Park -- postponed to July 1 due to weather.

Tuesday, July 1

  • Clarence: Fireworks at Main Street Town Park (rescheduled from June 30). Festivities start at 4 p.m., with fireworks at dusk.
  • Niagara Falls State Park: Fireworks start at 10 p.m. Viewing areas include Luna Island, Prospect Point and Terrapin Point.

Wednesday, July 2:

  • Niagara Falls State Park: Fireworks start at 10 p.m. Viewing areas include Luna Island, Prospect Point and Terrapin Point.

Thursday, July 3

  • Akron: Fireworks at dusk at Veterans Park
  • Aurora: Fireworks start at 10 p.m. at Hamlin Park
  • Batavia: Fireworks following the Niagara Falls Americans vs. Batavia Muckdogs game at Dwyer Stadium
  • Buffalo: Independence Eve celebration at Sahlen Field, with fireworks and a Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra concert following the Buffalo Bisons vs. Rochester Red Wings game
  • Cheektowaga: Fireworks at dusk at Cheektowaga Town Park
  • Depew: Fireworks start at 10 p.m. at Firemen's Park
  • Jamestown: Fireworks follow the Jamestown Skunks vs. Niagara Ironbacks game at Russell E. Diethrick, Jr. Park
  • Niagara Falls State Park: Fireworks start at 10 p.m. Viewing areas include Luna Island, Prospect Point and Terrapin Point.
  • Olcott: Fireworks start at 10 p.m. Viewing areas include Krull Park, the Lakeview Village Shoppes, behind the lighthouse and the Olcott Yacht Club.
  • Niagara Falls: Fireworks start at 9:40 p.m. at Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino. Rain date is July 6.
  • Silver Creek: Fireworks at Borrello Park on Front Street
  • Springville: Fireworks follow a concert that ends at 9:30 p.m. at the Concord Town Park
  • Town of Tonawanda: Fireworks start at 9:30 p.m. at Kenney Park. Food trucks begin serving at 6 p.m., and the American Legion Band plays from 7-9 p.m.

Friday, July 4

  • Bemus Point: Fireworks start at 10 p.m. from the barges in Bemus Bay
  • Boston: Fireworks following a Skylighters performance at the Boston Lions Shelter
  • Darien Lake: Fireworks start at 9:50 p.m.
  • Dunkirk: Fireworks start at 9:30 p.m. at Dunkirk Memorial Park. Rain date is July 5.
  • Lakewood: Fireworks on Chautauqua Avenue
  • Lancaster: Fireworks at 10 p.m. shot off from St. Mary's Cemetery and can be seen from downtown
  • Lewiston: Fireworks start at dusk and can be viewed from Academy Park
  • Lockport: Fireworks start at 10 p.m.
  • Lyndonville: Fireworks start at 10 p.m. behind the Lyndonville school
  • Marilla: Fireworks at Marilla Fireman's Grounds
  • Mayville: Fireworks start at 10 p.m. at Lakeside Park
  • Mina: Fireworks at Findley Lake
  • Niagara Falls State Park: Fireworks start at 10 p.m. Viewing areas include Luna Island, Prospect Point and Terrapin Point.
  • City of North Tonawanda: Fireworks at dusk off of the Renaissance Bridge
  • Orchard Park: Fireworks start at 9 p.m. at Orchard Park Middle School
  • Pendleton: Fireworks start at 10 p.m. and can be viewed from Pendleton Town Park. Rain date is July 6.
  • Warsaw: Fireworks start at 10 p.m. at Warsaw Village Park
  • Wheatfield: Fireworks start at dusk at Oppenheim Park

Saturday, July 5

  • Clarence: Fireworks at dusk at the Great Pumpkin Farm
  • Colden: Fireworks at Walter Kummer Town Park
  • Niagara Falls State Park: Fireworks start at 10 p.m. Viewing areas include Luna Island, Prospect Point and Terrapin Point.

Sunday, July 6

Fourth of July events

Warsaw Fire Department Carnival: The carnival takes place at various times from July 2 through 5 at Warsaw Village Park. Aside from the carnival, live music, drinks and food will be available for attendees. Fireworks start at 10 p.m. on July 4.

Town of Tonawanda / Kenney Park: An Independence Day celebration will take place on July 3 in the Town of Tonawanda's Kenney Park. Food trucks will be available from 6 to 9:45 p.m., the American Legion Band will perform from 7 to 9 p.m., and fireworks will kick off at 9:30 p.m. The event is free and there is no rain date.

Cheektowaga Freedom Festival: The festival will take place on July 3 at Cheektowaga Town Park. Beer and food tents will open at 5:30 p.m. IMPACT will perform from 6 to 10 p.m. and fireworks will mark the end of the celebrations at dusk. A parade starts at noon on July 4 on Walden Avenue. It will continue down Harlem Road and stop at the Cheektowaga Town Park.

City of Lockport: A parade will begin at Lincoln at 6 p.m. on July 3 and head north down Locust Street to Walnut Street. On July 4, country singer JB Aaron will perform in the City Hall parking lot starting at 6 p.m. Food trucks will also be available. Fireworks will follow at 10 p.m.

Genesee Country Village and Museum: The Independence Day Celebration at the museum takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on July 4. A 19th century style parade will take place, along with a pie eating content and reading of the Declaration of Independence. A traveling exhibition from the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History will also be on display. Admission for museum members and children 12 years and under is free. Tickets are $23 for adults and $20 for seniors and students.

Fireworks on the Erie Canal: From 6 p.m. until a firework show that kicks off at dusk on July 4 at the Renaissance Bridge, the Gateway Harbor in the Twin Cities will offer face painting, a balloon artist, a portable rock wall, free hot dogs for children 18 and under, inflatables and game stations.

Lancaster: Events run July 3-5 near W. Main Street, including carnival games and rides, concerts, a beer tent, and a 10k race.

Lyndonville Lions Club: The club will host its 51st Annual July 4th Celebration on July 4. It will feature a parade, craft show, chicken barbecue and firework show that kicks off at 10 p.m. behind the Lyndonville school. Food stands and vendors will be located along the front lawn of the Lyndonville Central School District on Main Street.

Old Falls Street festival: Old Falls Street in Niagara Falls is celebrating the Fourth of July with live music, entertainment, vendors and food trucks from noon to 10 p.m. on July 4 and 5, and noon to 6 p.m. on July 6. Admission is free.

Carnival at the Great Pumpkin Farm: The farm in Clarence is hosting a carnival from noon to 9 p.m. on July 4 and 5. Admission is free, individual ride tickets are $1.50, a 30 pack of tickets is $30 and wristbands are $30 per person. Attendees under 18 years old are required to have a parent or guardian with them.

Southern Tier Brewing Company: Southern Tier is hosting its 4th of July Live Music Series at various times from July 1 through 6 at its Lakewood location, the Empty Pint.
